The Rantallion is the current stop for two musical writer/performers known by the very lovely names of Leigh Johnson and Andrew Ware.

Mr. Johnson and Mr. Ware have a combined age of one-thousand-and-seventy-three, and first met in medieval times.

Johnson and Ware lost touch for a while,  meeting again in 1997 at William Gee School.

It was a chance meeting at the tuck shop:

“Polo mints?” said Johnson, Ware watching closely over the Yorkie bars.

“We have none,” said Ware, “but why don’t we start a band?”

And so it was.

We learned to play instruments—it wasn’t that hard. We wrote songs -  brilliant songs.

Now, several years (and a few comings and goings) later, Mr. Johnson and Mr. Ware present to you this website.
